Here are some new pics of my new light fixture. I love them. they are super bright and the fans are silent. It is very user friendly. some things are still acclimating to the light so they are not fully open. pics are with blues at 100% and whites at 60%. i did some aqua scaping also.

Very nice pdnyc69. Those AI units are powerful, you should consider lowering the intensity to 50/50 for a week or more and bring it up 10 to 15% each week. I notice that there is less spot lighting effect when you hit 6+ modules.

More like $3300 but great feature is that they are truely modular. You can add modules as the tank changes or if you upgrade size wise. I think I read that some were adding a 7th module to cut down on the shadowing or spot lighting effect.

hey looks great! i have these lights also -- you dont have a way to test PAR do you?

i read the PAR results on the AI website (700+ PAR at 19 INCHES?!?, twice as much as 250W metal halides...!?)

They did their test through air only, so i wanted to see if anyone can test these through water.
