Upgrading my 20 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump (with no baffles:tired: ) to a 40 breeder with a proper sump.

The 20 gallon was my first tank and has now become obsolete because of the great things I have learned on this site. Thanks guys and gals
NOTE: The tank has overflowed two times with a overflow box (U tube) and has to go before the wife throws me out.
:groupflip

I purchased a 40 breeder from a fellow reefer on the site.
Ordered the overflow kit and return from glass-holes.
Purchased a bubble magus 3 from a fellow reefer on the site (Anen) - great dude.

So this upcoming weekend its stand building and tank drilling time.
Pics to come - from 20 to 40 properly done :eek:rangehat

Things to acquire - powerhead, sand, maybe more rocks, mud, controller, and of course lights. The tank is 36" hook me up fellow reefers

So hopefully it goes well and I could stop the BEEF with wifey :argue:

Tank is almost filled up. Let the cycling begin. On the glass you see the reflection of the 20 gallon that is being replaced. :lol2:

Also put up a pic of my watermelon zoas that will be going into this tank.
Need more colorful stuff to make wifey happy.

I'm going the led route as well. Getting some regular LED for now and maybe radion down the road. Not sure. You have pics of your LED setup?

I'm running t5 on my 90 gallon and 20 gallon system. First time experimenting with LED. I did buy a few led from rapidled, but didn't get the dim-able meanwell power supply. :sigh:
So those are sitting till i get new power supplies.
