It's is a very detailed job. Definitely not a DIY project. The material alone is very expensive & once u mess up its no good. Duggal in NYC & the sign guy by custom signs both do vehicle wraps. The latter is located in staten island. Be aware it can get very expensive. I got quoted about 4k for a small Honda fit.

and go to youtube and you can see how everyone does it i think you will need alot of water and a heat gun for the weather now

I wouldn't do it right now, I would wait till the spring/summer. The job isn't all that hard and the materials aren't really that expensive. I did two wrap jobs, one on a H2 hummer and the other mas Lincoln Mark viii. The Lincoln was the first job I did.

That is pretty cool. I didn't know that you could do this. Does the wrap feel like rubber to the touch once its on the car or does it harden? How does this hold up to scratches and dirt?

Doesn't have a rubber feel, at least the brand I used. As for holding up to the elements, I have no idea as I don't own either car I did. I do see the H2 from time to time and it looks good to me. The warranty was for 5 years if used outside for the 3M brand. The good thing about it though is if a panel were to get scratched you only need to replace that section..
