I'm looking for a car now and thinking about a 2009 or 2010 Audi A4. Is it worth buying or am I going to have to go fix something once a week.

Don't know about an 09,10, but I can tell you repairs will not be cheap..
My son has a 96, and he is a automotive technician & the parts alone are putting him in the poor house.
I spoke to my son, and he says: It all depends on how well the vehicle has been cared for by it's previous owner.
Best wishes dear.....
around 30,000 miles. good or bad?
Mileage is certainly something to consider but it doesn't give you the whole picture. I can have a car for under 10k miles and treat it like crap and race it up and down the street everyday, your best bet is to have a mechanic take a look at it and give you his opinion.
have you owned one?the 2.0T is a good car
i have a few guys that come to my shop with it most of the time they just want me to do MOD to it or oil change but at 30k mile your not gonna run into much . these are u need to use the right oil and keep thing in checkhave you owned one?
the 2.8L engine is a PAIN =T i change a o2 sensor B1S1 and i have to take out the intake to replace it . audi make really good 4 cyl (1.8 and 2.0 )The older models have been known to be expensive on repairs. My brother owns a 98 A4 2.8l, it's a great car but cost a lot on parts even if we do the repairs our self. My cousin owns a 06 A4 2.0T, not as many repairs and more dependable. So I would say they have been getting better. As far as the one you are looking it. It's been driven 15k a year, that's on the high side. If it is highway its okay but on local, that is heavy wear. On the plus side there is still warranty, if transferred.
yeah, we know the pain. Just replaced the o2 on b1s1 2 weeks ago, then out when the catalytic converter a week later. At 120k miles, it still running strong though.the 2.8L engine is a PAIN =T i change a o2 sensor B1S1 and i have to take out the intake to replace it . audi make really good 4 cyl (1.8 and 2.0 )
very funny but audi 4 banger and bmw 2.5 and 3.0 those are the only german car i would get if i dont have warrantyIf it's not covered by the factory new or certified used warranty...do not EVER buy a German car.
