MH Upgrade

right now i have 26 gallon tank running with 110 pc. i am thinking upgradig my light with 70 watt mh from hellolight plus 55 watt actiic. iam planning to have sps in my tank. do u guys think this light will kill my mushroom?
what do you guys think?

I was thinking of a similar setup for my 20. 150 MH, though. No the 70 watt will not kill your mushies. Just do not keep them at the top of the tank.

I would not do sps under 70w MH, MOST sps need extremely intense light, you can get away with a few kinds of sps as well as a few mushrooms, keep in my mind they would live not thrive under that light,I would go with a 250w MH setup for your tank IMO

the bulb i am using is 10 k by ushio.

should work good, sps grow best under lower k, but lower k do give an ugly yellow appearence that most people supplement with acintics, but 10ks will work great

I would go with a higher wattage halide....at least a 150w

70 watts of halie over a 26 gallon isnt very much, go for a 150/175
