Wondering if a single MP 40 along with an eheim 1262 will be enough flow in a 180 fowlr?

My overflow is on the left side wall so the eheim and mp40 would be pointing at one another as far as movement.

Or am I better off with a single MP 60?

I will have a lot of fish and think I do need a good amount of flow to help oxygenate the water. Just unsure id the 40 is enough or 60 is overkill.

After talking to a few people I think I'm going to do two korallias. My only thing was I was hoping to avoid having wires in the tank :/.

i'll figure it out.

Yeah except Hydor Koralia 19 Watt, 3250 GPH - $122.99 = $245.00 for the same amount of flow as a single mp60, which is $774.

By going with the koralias I can afford my skimmer on that alone. Makes sense to go with the koralias because I can position one on each side of the right wall and have it go against my return. Also I could even put two smaller koralias on the side of my overflow box to help w/ flow.

Yea the mp60 are great for large fish only systems
got mine up at about 70% and I'm using nutrient export mode ,really moves the detrius and other crap around to the overflow box..
Great for heavily stocked tanks ...tangs love the changing flow...

i have a 180g FOWLR and thinks my mp60 is great for it.

mp40 max is ~3200gph. I usually leave my mp60 turned up about 70%, which is 5000gph+.

So pretty sure I'm set on 2 x Koralia 3000 GPH powerheads for $100 each.

I figure I will put 2 of them on the far right wall and since my overflow and returns are on the far left wall I can shoot them against one another.

I may need to put a koralia on each side of the overflow box too to eliminate deadspots, but we'll see.

I definitely want there to be a good amount of flow for the fish to swim through and help oxygenate the waters
