I wonder how this will do in a tank with Power Blue Tang, tank size is 800 gallons, input from anyone?

Hi Ravi, I don’t know I have that one that size and they are not that aggressive! A powder blue is! Since your PBT is established it might be a problem? Size of tank may help but its taking a chance! Thanks Tom

Absolutely fine.. it’s huge .. how large is the powder blue? If anything remove the PB and add a week once you introduce this one

If the PB isn’t huge you might not have a problem. Just depends.. I have 14 tangs and would love this Achillies as well but I’m just spending way way way too much lately

I personally think you will be fine, worst case sell the PBT, that Achilles is awesome

I’m confused, why is this fish 850 dollars ? Because it is a “Hawaiian” Achilles ?? they are collected also in Tahiti which isn’t “ shutting down“ so u will still be able to get Achilles tangs which might mean a slight increase because they are only coming out of one place but not 850 dollars.. whoa.. this hobby isn’t fun anymore.. of course this is just my Opinion..

Actually just found out that Tahiti is gunna shut down for alittle bit now due to Covid.. so I guess we won’t be able to get them for a minute.. soooo I guess it can be worth it ? I don’t know anymore.. I hope u sell it, good luck

Achillies are like 400 from a store.. that’s maybe not eating and not established.. might take 2/3 times to Get it right.. It is expensive but that’s how it is now with some fish.
I was offered 2k for my male crosshatch.. I won’t sell it.. 3k I would but I know that isn’t happening
the better the Achillies is the better, stronger to fight any ich..

I agree with with this comment, I rather buy fish from established tank and fish that has been in the tank for while, survival chances exceed for better than when getting from store, price is fair, for that size fish..

All I know this hobby is going to be for the rich ONLY or everyone just going to have 1 or 2 fish in their tanks.
