Friday I noticed my Goldflake not eating about an hour later swimming erratic. Like was not able to keep straight. I was looking up things online and read could be internal parasite. I did not notice any other fish acting strange even today all seems normal. Well I Qt the Goldflake and got some API parasite guard. The first treatment was yesterday and no need for the second which would have been tomorrow. The fish past this afternoon. Crazy but has anyone experienced internal parasite if that what it was?

Api

The API medication has two ingreadiants one being prazipro. I had the fish about three months as eating like a chamP I actually was able to hand feed him. It was like we bonded. Diet was mixture of frozen enriched with garlic. Pellets flake. All other tank mates are fine there are two other angels. All were getting along the last new addition was a half moon trigger about 2 inch. I qt him using cupermin for two weeks before putting him in the display. The goldflake was about 5 inch and thick. It all started Friday with what looked like stringy poop hanging from but. I was concerned and searched the web for help. The best description I can find was internal parasite. If this was the correct diagnosis not sure but it had all the same symptoms. His belly did not swell to much but the poop and boyuancy swimming issue made me think internal parasite. If this was correct it wiped him out quick. The tank is a 140 oceanic sump is life reef skimmer life reef two power heads mp40 and mp10. All levels are normal. Tuff loss as I likes the personality this fish had. I will try again with another gold flake as I want this fish in my display.
