I was speaking from personal experience. I have an RBTA now, no clowns, its completely left alone. Expands out with tentacles I would say that get to 6-8inches AT LEAST on any given day. Some days I come home and find it like that, other days I come home and find it all bubbled up. Could be that my chemistry changed or that it just felt like being bubbly :). JMO.

hey, im aalamost posiitive they do do that naturaly contractig and all but as you said it will be bubled upa anddmight not be. so i think if you have a dedicated clown it will most likely stay open longer then bubbled up (still i may be wrong)

tru tru also my clark used to be in my late lta and at night the lta would lose fully and my clown would go away till morning so i think its a thing left to aanemone in itself some might like yours have a fluxuation about this and some like that liptis guy on youtube might have a more fraagile one

i have a gbta and it never shows the bubble up tips (my clowns dont host it), now its inside a critter cage waiting for someone to pick up  while inside this cage it has bubbled up tips all the time now...leds me to think it's based on the flow or perhaps intensity of light
