i have recently obtained a 6 inch mantis shrimp. it is the coolest thing in the sea. Ive done some research and the coolest thing i found is that they can see in like 8 more spectrums than human beings. I wonder what they see when they look around. aura's, ghosts, cancers, who knows. Just imagine being able to see in 10 spectrums. Watching these magnificantly nimble assassins at work is awesome. nothing seems to be able to match its speed, strength and sheer ruthlessness when it wants you dead. anybody else out there share my passion for mantis shrimp, let me hear you say "hell ya"

Hi Mandarin420 ;-)
I know some people that do share the same passion as you do for mantis shrimps and all of them speak and write English, so you can exchange information with them

For some pictures have a look here and here is a video posted by one of them and here another video of the same mantis.

Several links about mantis shrimps...enjoy:)

How to trap a mantis shrimp

Mantis Shrimp

One last thing, animals other than Humans, are not assassins for they act by instinct and not by will of deliberately harm just for that purpose, so its their nature. (I say this remark in the best of the intentions:)
