The Manhattan Reef Swap was excellent, however, if you can not wait until the next swap, you may consider to attend the monthly meeting of LIRA (Long Island Reef Association) which will be held at "75 Austin Blvd., Commack, NY 11725"

A free frag (at least 2 eyes) of candy cane coral will be given to the first 10 LIRA new members who attend the next meeting on 8pm, Friday, Feb.6.

A draw of the following free corals for all attendees will also be made in the meeting,

Other fresh cut frags from the tanks (3)

More Free Corals for LIRA Attendees

Please let me know if anyone need a free frag of the sinularia (green tree coral) shown on the left of the following picture.

We can cut it for at least 5 winners/attendees after the meeting.

how do ya join..i was talking to andy about joining.i am very interested.

Here is the link for the LIRA membership,

http://www.longislandreef.org/membership.html

However, I suggest that you go to the meeting, then decide whether you want to join as a member before the auction and raffle for free corals start.

LIRA sometimes (not always) collects $5.- for non-member attendees, the worse you can lose is $5.-.

In addition to a 5" RBTA which will be available for the meeting, I also have a 12" giant RBTA at home tank. Please post in this thread if anyone (hobbiests only) needs it. I will try to pull it out and take it to the meeting, but no guarantee.

This RBTA is more than 15 years old, I have donated more than 20 of their children and grandchildren to different clubs. The following picture was taken 1 year ago, now is even larger.
